The Prince's Trust Team Programme
Chess people have the opportunity to develop their skills by taking part in The Prince's Trust Team Programme working as development coaches.
The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12 week course for unemployed 16 - 25 year olds. The programme is designed to inspire, excite and motivate those taking part and get them into employment.

By getting involved with community projects the team gain practical skills, self belief, career advice and great friends as well as have a positive impact in their local area, contributing an estimated £7250 through the voluntary work they do.
Two Chess people - Billing Manager - Emma Salt and Management Accountant - Cheryl Llewellyn have already taken advantage of the devlopment coach opportunity. Each found The Prince's Trust Team Programme a highly positive and rewarding experience, gaining valuable skills in communication, planning, as well as building confidence, motivation and focus.
The role of development coach on The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a training course with a difference. They are responsible for encourage the team to develop practical solutions to problems, getting actual results.
