Health Screening
Roughly once a year Chess organises for Prevent plc to come in and conduct health screens. Staff can pick from a list of things that they would like to be checked for and the screening and results are entirely confidential. For those that have been with Chess for over a year their Health Plan covers part of the cost.
Opticians
Regardless of length of service, all at Chess are entitled to free optician check ups, on an annual basis: the preferred optician is Specsavers who offer corporate discounts.
Free Flu Vaccinations
To avoid the worst of the winter’s flu epidemics Chess provides free flu vaccinations for anyone interested.
Healthsure
After people have been at Chess for 12 months Chess pay for level one health cover. This entitles people to reimbursements for a variety for medical and health treatments, plus children under the age of 18 can be added free of charge.
