Rewarding Green Best Practice
Chess has a ‘Green Ticket’ scheme which rewards people for environmentally responsible behaviour with tickets in a big draw to win various prizes, from vouchers to holidays.
Green Tickets encourage all Chess people to adopt greener working practices and think more about reducing the amount of paper they use and recycling their waste.
Each month everyone who has qualified for a Green Ticket goes through to be nominated as Green person of the month. The winner is announced in Chess' internal e-magazine which updates all Chess people on what is happening within the business. They also gain a £5 voucher for Horseshoe Farm, a local provider for meat and vegetables.
All Chess people have a discount card for the farm to encourage shopping locally.
