The Prince's Trust Enterprise Project
Starting out in 2007, a team of Chess people took the opportunity to take part in the first ever Northwest Prince's Trust Enterprise Project - a unique development programme that not only raises vital funds for The Prince's Trust, but helps people build relationships and aquire new skills .

During the course of the six month programme, the Chess people involved gained a range of business skills, by planning and organising fund raising events.
It wasn't all plain sailing, but with a lot of time and effort, a plan of action came together. The ideas that emerged included a competition with the local paper to get readers yo-yoing in unusual places and holding a brownie sale!
The Prince's Trust Enterprise Project finished with a gala ball at Liverpool's Pan-American Club where the team celebrated their achievements and experiences.
