Chess' Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

At Chess, social responsibility is inherent in our business principles.

As a successful business Chess has a responsibility to use its knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the environment and wider society.

We see our charitable involvement, our respect for the community and the environment and the way we care for our people as intrinsic to the future success of Chess.

Chess was a 2007 and 2008 finalist in the Corporate Social Responsibility category in the National Business Awards.

Green Team
The Green Team is made up of representatives or 'Eco-Ambassadors' from all areas of Chess. The team meets monthly to discuss ways of reducing the impact Chess has on the environment, and drive them through the business as well as work towards Chess' May Day Climate Change Pledges.
