Billing & Investigate Team

A vacancy has arisen in our Billing and Investigate Department for an Assistant.  This is a key role in both departments that is vital to the successful expansion of the business.  The role requires a numerate person who has achieved good GCSE/A level grades in  Mathematics and English.

The successful candidate will work from our offices in Alderley Edge reporting to the Customer Services Team Manager.   

Hours: 37½ hours per week over 5 days flexible between the hours of8.30 am and 5.30 pm to be agreed with Line Manager

Holiday Allowance: 4 weeks paid holiday p.a.

Remuneration: £12,000 - £14,000 p.a. dependent upon experience, reviewed in May of each year.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

Billing

• Data entry and verification

• Daily import of call data

• Assisting with Tariffs Management

• Dealing with day to day billing

• Liaising with Customer Service team to resolve enquiries from Partners & Customers

• Assisting with the running of the monthly bill run

• General housekeeping within the billing system

Investigate

• Sending out cancellation letters

• Updating of billing system

• Investigating Customers who have dropped in billing

• Processing customer cancellations

Essential Skills:

Good numeric, computer and administration skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Excel an advantage but full training on in-house and billing system will be provided.  Accounts experience is not necessary.
