Accounts Administrator

Chess Ltd, one of the UK’s fastest growing telecommunication companies, are looking for an enthusiastic, and committed person to join their Credit Control Team.

The role is based in our Alderley Edge head office.
Hours: 37½ hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30 pm.
Holiday Allowance: 4 weeks paid holiday p.a. initially, increasing ultimately to 24 days, plus public holidays.
Remuneration: £14,000 - £15,000 p.a. dependent upon experience, reviewed annually in May of each year
Bonus: OTE £16,800

Benefits include Pension, Bonus, Health Care, Life Insurance and Loyalty Scheme.

Duties to include but not limited to:
• Processing customer rebates
• Updating customer records
• Sending out direct debit (DD) statements
• Commence process for rejected DDs
• Organising workload within DD administration team
• Invoice and credit note processing
• General administration – filing and photocopying

Essential Qualities:
• Excellent IT skills
• Attention to detail
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Flexible and able to cope with change

Preferred Skills/Competencies:
• Knowledge of DD process
• Sage/Accounts experience
• Confidence in taking inbound calls
